Thanks for all of the support! It's day 2 and so far so good! I got rid of all of the ashtrays, and that seems to help a little...but I tell you what....if someone lit up around me right now, I would probably attack them!!! I'm really craving them bad tonight. I did find a coupon for $10 off on the nicotine gum. I get paid tomorrow, so I think I am probably going to go get the gum.

I have heard from a few friends that hypnosis is good as they also work on making sure you don't overeat when you stop smoking.

That's wonderful that you could quit so easily. I know I need to quit, but I don't know how to begin. First of all, it doesn't help that my husband isn't willing to quit with me or even go outside to smoke. That makes things more difficult. He told me to give him a room in the house to smoke, but I don't want to go into that room and all you smell is smoke! I'm tired of my hair, clothes, the whole house smelling like a musty ashtray. It's time to quit....so where do I start?

Chewing gum is what worked for me. And lots of praying!
I have been smoke free for 1 year and 24 days. Thank you Jesus!
