What are you buying with your $1/1 any grocery item coupons? (western region)
These were given out during the time of the bandaid catalina deal. It was just the western region that got these in their free coupon books.
Anyways, I want to know what people are buying and what manufacturer coupons they are combining with them. What is the best deal to be had?
I see there are some 10/10 items in their ad. Those should definately be free with this coupon! Things such as ketchup, marshmallows, etc.

I used my 5 $1 off coupons I received in just one booklet yesterday. At first the cashier said that I could only use one at a time. I said "You mean I have to make 5 trips to your store THIS WEEK just to use these before they expire?" She said "Yep". I then asked her to show me where on the coupon it said I could not use more than 1 in my order. She then huffed and just scanned all 5.
My daughter was using her grade money (straight A's so she gets money for her report card) so she checked out seperately. The casher then informs me that I am not allowed to "split orders". WTH??? We were talking 5 items here. I wan't even using any more of the Albertson's coupons for her order, just manu. coupons, and only 2 at that. I complained to management as I walked out.

Sorry they gave you such a hard time. I'm definantly going to get some of the betty crocker fruit snacks, They are 4/$8 - $4 w/card - 4 albertsons coupons = free! My son loves fruit snacks and I hate paying $2 a box! I'm also hoping to get some clorox bleach, they are 10/10 this week. I think the 2 liters of coke products are also 10/10, so those would be free too.

Sorry this is kind of ot, but you guys just reminded me how mad I am at QFC. I went to get the coke deal for the rebate. The cashier just grabbed the first 12 pack and scanned it 4 times. So my receipt says minute maid, minute maid, minute maid, minute maid now my upcs are not going to match my receipt.

Dangit, you snooze you lose...didn't find any booklets at the two stores I went to... 
On the other hand I got this for $1.50:
1 Sobe Adrenaline Rush: $1.89 + .05 dep - catalina for Free can
1 French's mustard: $1 - .50 printed & .50 double
1 Cattleman's BBQ Sauce: $1.50 - $1 printed & .50 double
2 Body life bars: B1G1F @ $1.59 - $1.39 Free coupon
4 BC Fruit Snacks: 4/$8 - $4 instant - 2 x .85 printed - 2 x .50 doubles
So it wasn't a total waste...  |

Dont be. Our area NEVER doubles/triples at the Albertsons. About time they did SOMETHING here.

Oh, found a good one: Right Guard or Gillette Deodorants 2 for $4 (through tomorrow). Less $2/1 Any Gillette Deodorant -Albertsons coupon = $1 credit per deodorant.
I found these $2/1 coupons at Safeway last month. Posted them here but no one wanted to trade. Glad now!

Well, I was only able to get about 8 booklets througout the last month. Our cashiers were very guarded about them, and they don't have them out anymore. I used 2 coupons earlier this week to get some stuff we needed. I went back today to use the rest (thirty eight) and they let me use them all at one time! I got: bread,pop secret, albertsons fruit snacks, alb. cereals, malt o meal cereals ($1 box), napkins, paper towels, foil, freezer bags, fudge ice cream pops, cooking oil, wipes, apples, and albertsons 6ct snack raisins. I also got a birthday cake and used 1 on that, and tat was the only thing I actually paid for! It was so much fun. Just wish I'd had gotten more books when they first came out.
