Default What could this be

Hi everyone, I havent been on here that much lately but I have a question. A friend of mine emailed me this morning in a panic over some problems shes having and she has searched on the internet and cannot find any info so I told her I would post on here since there are so many women on here maybe someone will have an idea of what shes going through. ANyway heres her email to me from this morning

"Ok so I know you are no gyno but maybe you have experienced this... well I was going to the bathroom yesterday and when I went to wipe it was a pinkish mucas... so I waited thinking maybe I was going to start my period but NOTHING... then today the same thing... that is why i texted you yesterday... I am soo confused by this... and I cant find any info on the internet... maybe you would know where to look since you are good with searching things! my stomach is feeling really tight and my back is also hurting and NO i am not prego so i am lost! "

I emailed her back to ask her if shes supposed to start now or if shes in between AF and she hasnt emailed back yet so Im not sure about that part. But anyway I just thought I would see if any of you ladies knew anything about it. Thank you!

sounds like every bladder infection ive ever had...or the kidney stones i had...both cause light pinkish discharge (blood is in her urine prob too) the back pain sounds like more kidney stones, but it would be very painful...tell her to call the doc asap b4 it gets worse!

Ditto. . .I was thinking the exact same thing. a UTI can cause that as well. . .However, if she's not in pain. . .bc those things cause considerable pain. . .I would ask her if she's 100% absolutely positive (as in she has not had sex AT ALL within the last few months) that she is not pg.

Either way she needs to go to the dr.

totally agree if shes not im pain sounds more like pregnancy! uti and kidney stones cause it but come with pain, lots of it.

I was thinking the same thing about her being PG, becuase she was also "certain" that she wasnt pg the first time then surprise surprise she was, and ended up having a little girl. But I sure didnt think about it being a UTI or kidney stones, I will call her and tell her tonight so she can call her dr in the morning. THank you ladies, I knew you guys would have some input!

To be honest, I bet she's pg. Those things are incredibly painful. . .a UTI is when it gets to that point as are kidney stones and anything else. There's no way she could have them and not be in pain--and lots of it. People rush to the emergency room with kidney stones thinking it's appendicitis sometimes bc the pain is that bad. But yes, do tell her and send her to the doc. And if she thinks it's one of those things she should consider going to the ER.
