Default What CVS items are you selling in a yard sale and how much

Okay... I have been looking for an updated garage sale item list but have not found one so I think I will start one since I am having a sale tomorrow courtesy of CVS lol.

Here are my items I am wondering how much I should price for because I do not remember how much they were.

Kotex compact pads (the one that came in the bag with the red drawstring)
Tampax tampons
Platex sport tampons
Clearasil Face wash
Irish Spring 3 pack of soap
Ultra Smart Diabetes monitor

Please tell me how much you would price these for

Would love for people to post their list for questions also

Default CVS items

I sell my stuff several times each year. I try to keep everything at $1--makes adding up things much easier, but some things I have to price otherwise.

Here is what I put on my items and they pretty much all sold:

Kotex compact pads (the one that came in the bag with the red drawstring) $1
Tampax tampons $1
Platex sport tampons $1
Clearasil Face wash $1
Irish Spring 3 pack of soap $0.75
Ultra Smart Diabetes monitor If it comes with some test strips I put $5-$6 and if it doesn't then I put $2-$3. These don't usually sell too well at my sales.

I sold some of the colgate toothpaste for $1 at my yard sale. Flintstone vitamins $2, Samy products $1. I think that was all I sold at mine. Oh and I put the pantene trial sizes in a plastic baggie for 50cents for shampoo & conditioner.
HTH,
Kathy

I did a sell twice so far with all my stockpile stuff. I price most of my items at $1.00. Between both sells I did ( 1 in Jan. and 1 in Feb. of this year I made $1,100.00 dollars ) Medicine I sell at the yard sell is priced at $2.00 and this sells well. The electric toothbrushes $2.00, sells well. I did have the Pantene priced at $1.50 and the Samy at $1.00, both sold well.............
The Act mouthwash did not sell well at $1.00, I need to get rid of what I have left, around 100 bottles, I think I will price it at .50 cents this time.
I have a lot of new stockpile to sell this go around, doing my sell in 3 weeks..........

Last year I did my first stockpile sale and made over 400.00... did not have that much like I do now lol I have been saving since before October and went crazy collecting after that so I will let you all know how I do I am pricing everything now and going through old clothes that are taking up to much space Ugh I have to go and stake my signs tonight.

Here are a couple of pointers that I have learned...

Put cold drinks with ice in your empty washer... saw it on Racheal Ray

Go and get wooden sticks from Home Depot and staple or nail on neon colored signs to advertise your garage sale... the wooden sticks have points at the end that you can hammer into the ground, it would fly away and stays put a long time.

I have a yard sale every year and I usually make between 500 to 600 dollars and this was BEFORE I started with CVS!!!! can you imagine what I could make if I sold my stockpile??? I didn't know you could sell these items...not that I would because I can't seem to part with them!!!! I know strange, but I LOVE when I need something and go in my storage room and there it is! My Hubby, and daughters just spent Easter cleaning out the rest of the storage room so hubby could build one more shelving unit from Ikea. Do you know what he said....Babe, you need to fill this up quick and no slackin' ". He doesn't need to tell me twice! Ha! Ha!

Kotex compact pads (the one that came in the bag with the red drawstring) 1.50
Tampax tampons 1.50
Platex sport tampons 1.50
Clearasil Face wash 1.50
Irish Spring 3 pack of soap 1.00
Ultra Smart Diabetes monitor (DONT SELL TOO WELL)

TOOTHPASTE $1
toothbrush .75-1.00
battery toothbrush 2.50
quattros fusions etc 3.50-3.75
deoderant 1.00
bodywash 1.50

Remember many people are to lazy to use coupons let alone do CVS, rite aid etc. Most people at yard sales compare prices to what they pay at walmart. Price lower than them and you will sell. I usualy sell 80-90% of my supply at yardsales. I also compiled a list (excel spreadsheet) that i send to the women where i work.

Items that i have trouble selling (diabetes monitors etc) Keep your reciept donate to charities and write off on your taxes.

$3500+ in one years time. bought me my american heritage pool table, 51" TV, DVD player, 7.1 stereo surround, receiver, basically all of the toys i wanted since i was a kid. God Bless America and God Bless Capitalism.
