I currently have four home based businesses, three of which I am actively promoting. I choose not to promote the fourth because although I love the products, I just don't like the compensation plan. I guess you can say that I just joined for the discount... !
Two of them I've only been working on for a little over a year, while the third I've been involved with for nearly 3 years, but took a break and just got started back up in November. That one I'm marketing as my main business. I help set up new customers accounts with a 23yo health and wellness company called Melaleuca. I guess we can call that biz#1. !
Biz#2 is with a scent-fully amazing company called Scent-Sations/Mia Bella. I'm an independent distributor of these amazing gourmet soy/veggie blend candles. I am highly allergic to most scented items, but let me tell you- I have not had one allergic reaction to any of these scented candles! That's what got me involved with the company in the first place. I've always loved scented candles, but have not been able to purchase them due to my allergies. So when a friend sent me a sample and I didn't sneeze or get sick, I had to purchase some for myself!
Biz#3 is perhaps the most fun of my three biz's. I am an independent Crew Member of Noah's Ark Animal Workshop. Noah's Ark is a mobile stuffing company that brings the party to you. What I love most about this is the interaction with the kids! I did a workshop for a preschool a few weeks ago, and one adorable little girl came up to me and hugged me at the end of the workshop, and thanked me for her "new best friend." AWWWW!!

I work remotely in the technology field (Customer Service/Technical Support Management) and also run a work from home website. My website is an informational resource for those who are looking for work at home opportunities -- I also make money from my site through advertisements and affiliate programs. In addition to managing my website, I am also an independent consultant for a candle company (Scentsy) and a health and wellness company (Fruta Vida). I chose to rep for these companies based on my satisfaction as a customer first.

Default Baby Shower Web Site Mommy

Hi All

I have a little girl who has just turned four and decided to set up a home based business to be able to spend a little more time with her.

I started my babyshower website the beginging of 2008; it was hard going at first as I had no experince at creating websites; the only thing I used to do on-line was shop .

My little business has now started to pick up and get noticed in the vast black hole of the internet; I really enjoy doing it and I have learned so much about web site building; it's great to have a business that you have built up and developed yourself.

Cheers

I am a proposal writer for a government contracting company. I have also started a personal finance website and blog that I manage in my spare time.

When I got pregnant with my first child I had to stop working at about 6 mths, I joined a phenomenal candle company that would allow me to continue earning an income but most importantly was toxic free. I have birds, dogs, cats, rabbits etc and was starting a family so it was a product that went along with my organic healthy lifestyle. I've been doing it for 6 yrs now. I have recently started up my first business again as a massage therapist and just mix my two businesses together. I work from home for both, and both are a healthier alternative in life than other options and I get to stay home and homeschool my kids as well so it works out fantastic!
