Default What is the Price of 1 Gallon Unleaded Gas?

Have you been keeping an eye on the cost
of unleaded gasoline these days?

I do.

Seems like each day, it goes up higher and higher.

What is the latest price for the cost of 1 gallon
of unleaded gas
and
how many $$ does it take to fill your gas tank?

Locally here it has climbed and climbed....most stations are $3.99 to $4.06 for a gallon of unleaded gasoline.
Somehow there is a 9 after each of those.....

Yesterday, I found it to be $3.85 at one station,
so DH, my car, and my parents' car all got filled-up.

Then, acrossed town at one local station was $3.81.
Rest were at $3.99 or above.

Big jump of $10 barrel of oil yesterday.

What about you?

In Central Florida, its around $3.95 yesterday. A really good deal is around $3.88. But it's not found very often. I don't even fill the tank anymore. The last time I did it was around $50. I keep hoping I will wake up and it will be cheaper because of some miracle. Bring on the gas holidays!!!

Here's my question: Has the crazy gas prices changed your driving habits? Lately, I have found myself, second guessing leaving the home to go the store. When I do, I try to make the errands a round trip. I don't know what we are going to do now that kids are out of school. I usually do a lot of day trips to the beach and parks, but I think gas prices will put a dent in that.

In NC it's anywhere between $3.85 to $3.95 for regular! Not sure of the prices of plus and premium but it's definitely past the $4.00 mark! We have both a small car and an SUV....the SUV takes at least $70 to fill the tank! Going with a hybrid for our next vehicle purchase sounds like a great idea right about now!

I saw it for the bargain price of $3.87/gallon yesterday (down from $3.99 late last week). Sadly, my debit card shuts off at $75.00 worth of gas. That is just shy of a full tank for me

Yesterday I saw a station fo $3.89. I think that's the cheapest I saw all day. I drive a Buick Le Sabre, so filling up for me is like filling up an SUV! (Not quite, but feels like it sometimes!) Yesterday, filling up at the $3.89 price, it cost nearly $70!!! I used to drive a small compact car that never took more than $30 filling from empty, but sadly I traded that car in for a bigger, safer car when DD was born!

Love the car; hate the gas!

It has changed here recently, at the moment is 1.24 a litre 10p cheaper than a while ago, which works out at 4.58 a gallon, which in dollars is $9.02 a gallon. We never fill our car up from empty as we live in the middle of nowhere, for half a tank we pay around 45/$90.

i filled up the other day, and it took $43! i have a chevy cobalt, which is the same size as a honda civic (same mileage & everything too). i only have a 10 gallon tank (but i was super dry, barely made it -- thanks hubby ), so i'll say gas was about 4.10. absolutely ridiculous.
