Smile What is your dream car?

Hi!
I was wondering if you could have any car in the world what would you choose? And what colour would you like it to be? There are no restrictions i.e. it has to be a certain size so I could fit my kids, pets etc in it. or I couldn't afford to buy it or pay for the insurance/petrol/upkeep.
I would absolutely love a Jeep Wrangler soft top. In a dark purple. Or maybe a Hummer- something huge!

Been wanting a Mustang since 1968.

I would have a Mustang of that vintage or early 70s, with modifications such as gps, onstar, sound system, brakes, etc. And it would be a convertible. And it would either be red or yellow.

Or I would have a new mustang convertible GT. The kind of vehicle that says "she doesn't schlep kids around anymore". That's my auto fantasy. And I've been deferring it for 40 years!!!!

I too would take a Jeep Wrangler.
I had a brand new one in 2000, but had to trade in for a truck in 2002.
A Wrangler isn't the most practical vehicle with kids. My mom has one of her own, so when I get the itch, I get to borrow her's

Not dorky, and I don't drive stick either. And I can't teach my kids to drive and teaching them stick cost extra - so they don't drive stick. Hopefully my son will learn different in the military.

However, the bugs were very durable cars, and very practicaal - but I always felt cramped in them back then. This is probably because my mom drove a 69 Impala. Amazingly, this was not considered a "big" car then, but in my mom's words "big enough to feel safe". Bugs were safer than most people expected them to be back then.

The VW busses however, were not very safe. Those were the busses which were tricked out hippy dippy flowerchild style. Huge problems with rollover, but a lot of large families preferred them to station wagons, as they were more economical and easier to see from, and the kids were actually seated, not jammed in the back by the window.

I have a friend who has a 1970 GTO Judge. It is his pride and joy. Lots of beach memories in that from when he was young.

It's a very close call between a 1967 Mustang convertible candy apple red with red interior with a white top and the 2008 Shelby Mustang they used in the new Knight Rider movie. Of course someone will need to teach me how to drive stick. And to think I was raised a Chevy girl.
