What kind of car seat?
Ellamae's car seat goes up to 30 lbs and I have been looking at other car seats for when she outgrows hers. I can't seem to find anything I like. I want something safe, easy to get her in/out, and easy to install. Due to my job I may have to take it in/out of my car a couple times a month. I also want a high weight for 5 point harness. What do you use and what do you like? and why? would you have liked something different?

we have an eddie bauer one...expensive but amazing! It is rear/front facing, 5 pt harness and goes up to 60 or 70 lbs. Its very padded for extra comfort and can fit into any shaped car (as far as the seat go) I love it

haha i think we have the same carseat rhi! is it this one? eddie bauer montecito ? i love it. it was a pain in my little car when it was rear facing though, but we might not have done it right. we need another one for DH's car, but i'm procrastinating on it because ours was so expensive. i have seen a few that are cute for $40-60 dollars, but i haven't checked the safety on them yet. GL!

We have a Britax Evolva ultra 123 Val D'isere, I love it, it is for 9months to 11 years. The padding on the seat and head rest is really soft so the younger ones are comfy and can easily fall asleep. We have one for each of the children, they all seem pretty happy to sit in them and even Mikey has not mastered how to open the seat belt. We have given an older child a lift using one of the seats before, an eight year old, after loosening the straps she was fine and not cramped in the seat or uncomfortable. It reclines as well.

We have a Britax Blvd! I LOVE it. It's a bit pricey but offers lots of safety features(including side impact protection). It goes harnessed from 5-65 lbs and can rear face to 33 lbs! http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...ductId=2535311
I am pretty sure it and the Sunshine Kids brand are the only ones that stay harnessed this long. The EB ones are GREAT seats, too, but I've read that they transistion to a booster at 40 lbs therefore not 5 pointed any farther than that. I could be wrong though.

Check out Target if you're looking for a seat right now. I found a Britax Roundabout clearanced for $109 and a Marathon for $134! Great prices for great seats! We have a Roundabout for Caleb. I'm planning on keeping him in that until he gets to the 40 lb weight limit and then I'd like to get the Britax Regent which lets them stay in a 5 point harness up to 80 pounds.
