For those of us who are less knowledgeable about this beautiful state, what do you recommend are the best attractions for members interested in taking their families here on vacation? What are the best parks, historical sites, destinations, hotels, cultural events, outdoor spots, events, entertainment and other attractions?
Although Vermont has no ocean - we have history, boating, swimming, rock climbing, skiing, hiking, biking, music - Burlington's Discover Jazz fest, blues in the winter, UVM - hockey, basketball, baseball, Shelburne Museum, family events - Addison County Field days. The views are exquisite (all though it is a bit grey in the early winter and early spring - mud season)...........
