Default What types of insurance do you have?

It seems like today that there are 100 different kinds of insurance. What types of insurances do you and your family have? Which ones would you like to have? Which ones aren't worth it? Which companies have you used that you have liked or disliked?

Life insurance, car insurance, house insurance and medical insurance. When I bought my first home and was single, I bought the mortgage insurance in case I was laid off or disabled. It was a real nerve balm after seeing the total amount I'd pay when my mortgage closed.

I have house insurance, home contents insurance and car insurance. But I haven't bothered with life insurance. So far, I've had to use the home contents and the car insurance, the latter for a break-in when I'd left the car for literally five minutes and it was parked out front of a frind's place in a quiet sububan street. You just never know when you are going to need insurance.
