What's Your Favorite Animated Disney Film?
What's your favorite Disney film? This is a tough one, for me, but I'd love to know what you guys think. If your favorite isn't listed, let me know! Unfortunately, I can only have ten picks.

I really liked Tarzan. The music was wonderful. But, Beauty and the Beast was my all time favorite.

My best friend loves Beauty and the Beast so much that she's had to dedicate a room in her house to all her collectibles.
Me? I don't know that I can pick just one!

Jungle Book! I love the songs. I laugh every time the little girl flirts in the end. Even the vultures are cool.

I love Aladdin, as well. It's definitely one of my favorites. I have such a hard time choosing just one.
And the Jungle Book! The music in that one is just fabulous!

My favorite is not on the list... amd wasn't Toy Story more Pixar than Disney? i'll choose one from the poll anyway... Beauty and the Beast truly impressed me with its animation....but you should also be impressed with l'originale, Snow White, the last of the truly dark Disney films.... only fleeting moments of darkness can be seen after Pinocchio, which is fairly dark, too.... but after that one... it's carefully calcutaing and much more "black and white".... moments of brilliance followed by moments of tedium... almost all predictable... good stuff along the way, Dalmations, most of Fantasia, the mixing of anime and live action, too... but the fairest of them all remains the first feature...

I'm glad Toy Story was included. I LOVE Toy Story 1 and 2. I think I love most all the Disney/Pixar films though.

Toy Story was Disney and Pixar. It is owned by Disney.
There were only ten slots for the poll so, unfortunately, I couldn't fit all of the features on one poll. I'm confused though, are you saying Snow White is your favorite? Because it's on the poll.

Well, that's my job, to confuse.
At any rate, Disney may own Pixar, which it did at the time of Toy Story, but I think it's fair to make a distinction between those films that Disney makes and those it distributes. Pixar has had more or less its own control over the films it has made; the same holds, generally, for films produced by Miramax, which Disney owns -- we don't think of Miramax-produced films as "Disney" films like the ones that Touchstone Pictures made in the eighties and nineties.
