We just saw Wind Cave NP in S. Dak. I thought it was really interesting because they found it because of the winds flowing through the opening. The structures inside were unusual too. Plus it staved off a hailstorm, which was rather nice.

Mine is Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico . . . although I've only been to them and a few places in Texas. It is a large carverns and very interesting.

Honestly, I am not sure that I have a favorite. I love exploring any cave. In Missouri we are known as the "cave state" and we have them everywhere. I absolutely love going to Meramec Caverns in Stanton, Missouri, however they have dramaticized the whole thing and so it's not as unique as it would be without all the fancy lights and media they have.

There is another cave that we went to a few years ago that is somewhere in Springfield (I'm sorry I cannot remember the name), and it was really cool. It's not all done up with media and lights, etc.

My son loves to explore caves and whenever we drive by a sign or we see one somewhere, he begs to go! I am not sure that he will ever outgrow his love for outdoor life!
