Default When Am I Gonna Quit Crying??

I swear I'm nothing but a huge ball of emotions with this pg... For the past 5 days the smallest things will upset me and make me cry!! I can't even watch TV with out this happening... My husband banned me from watching the news too!! But we live an hour or so from where that woman just killed a pregnant girl for her baby, and it's been on the news non stop.
The only thing that hasn't made me cry in cartoons, and I'm not gonna watch nothing but that for the whole pg. *lol*

I'm hoping this passes soon. Cause I know I wasn't this with DD. Plus, I've never been one to be over emotional so it's really new to me.... *sigh*

I totally follow you with the emotional roller coaster!! I'm actually normally pretty emotional, but this pregnancy is exaggerating every emotion. I was actually diagnosed with ante-natal depression. Thankfully my DR figured that something wasn't on the up and up with me and referred me to the clinic psychologist, who prescribed me some medication to help. I'm hoping that this will help me- good thing that my DR was so observant, because who knows how bad I would have gotten post-partum!

It's normal to be emotional during pregnancy. I've been avoiding the news as much as I can partly because of my emotions. But if you think that this is abnormal for you, don't hesitate to talk to your dr about it. Chances are that you'll be evaluated and nothing will come of it. Good luck!!

I was that way too. I couldn't watch a Baby Story with out bursting into tears. I still get teary eyed watching Robert sleep or listening to him coo or laugh. He's my precious boy and the most beautiful thing in this world to me.

I get weepy too, which is so weird to me. I don't like it when people see me get like that. I don't know why. But it drives me nuts! So I am always holding back tears!!!

I am exactly the same way, especially with Baby Story! As soon as that show is on, forget about it! And I was thinking.. when does it stop, you ask? After birth... but not really! Then you're just crying for different reasons! It's strange that you're weepy with this pregnancy but not your first DD!

By the way... What is the story with the pregnant woman who was killed?? I haven't heard this story! I live in MN, and you must live far away from here if that story didn't make the news over here!

If you are feeling this is just normal pg hormones raising a ruckus, ignore the news.

If you think this is more severe, as suggested above, tell your doctor so that treatment could be started.

I want to say it was in or around Pittsburgh PA. I think there was a thread on here about it. I'll see if I can find it.....

I hadn't heard about that story. I thought you all were talking about this story http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25632918/ that happened June 27th in Washington state. Apparently some crazy woman just happened to find a very pregnant woman in the park, stabbed her to death and cut her nearly full term fetus out of her.

Sorry to post such a sad story in the "Can't stop crying" thread but it makes you aware that we all need to be very, very careful of these very desperate, crazy women who are looking for babies. Be careful out there, Ladies!!!!
