My sis and mom are planning my baby shower for the end of Feb. beginning of March. When do you think is a good time to register? DH and I were going to go the weekend of January 13 or the 20th depending on our schedules. Is that too early? I have never registered and wasn't sure how long before the shower we should register. thanks

Do it as soon as you can...........it's never too early! Congrats on everything and may God watch over you...

I think if you're going to register you should register as soon as is possible. There are people, relatives, etc. who know you're having a baby and will get you a gift irregardless of being invited to a baby shower. If they're wondering what to get you, it is likely they'll check to see if you have a registry.

I agree...I would register as soon as possible. It's also should be easier for you now to decide what you want to add to your registery because you know what you're having.

register now. that way friends and family have plenty of time to look over your registry, and it also gives them time to get to the store you registered.

I would register as soon as you can. Friends and family will want to start getting you gifts soon and it is easier if they can just look at your registry. Then you can get the things that you really want.

Dh and I registered in November. It was nice because this Christmas my parents and in-laws suprised us with the cribs we wanted. Also I got a couple little items we registered for as Christmas gifts which was really nice. We are having twins so all the help we can get it great.

I registered MONTHS ago. I'm not having a baby shower (ew, all my friends are boys - how weird would that be? haha!) so it gives everyone the chance to know what I want/what to surprise me with

REALLY paid off on Christmas to have it, we got things we actually wanted for baby. She even got an organic bunny and an organic chicken rattle that I wanted for her <33
