When's your proposalversary?
Yesterday I wrote about how Valentine's Day is Wayne and I's proposalversary. (Click here to read about Valentine's Day as Proposalversaries and here to read how we celebrated.)
When's your Proposalversary? On a holiday too, like Christmas or New Year's Eve? Or maybe your birthday? Do you celebrate it at all? (I'm not sure we would if it wasn't on a day like Valentine's. Knowing me, I might not remember the date of the proposal if it wasn't on an easy to remember day.) |

I honestly can't remember those dates...and my dh proposed twice 'cause we broke the 1st engagement off. I don't remember 
I'm a bad wife. I wonder if he remembers?
I can remember the days-like what happened, what he said, and where we were. Just not the specific dates.

Ours is xmas eve...it was 2006...he had our oldest DD (Just turned one at the time) come into the lving room while I was putting some more decorations up on the tree..i thought she was holding a hook to the ornaments so i told her to give it to me...here it was a ring

Every year on 9/12 he gives me flowers and says "Happy 'Yes' Day" He had a big plan, but couldn't wait so just asked me, sitting on the couch, on a Friday night.
Interestingly enough, we got married on 3/12/04 (Didn't plan to have both dates the 12th, it just kind of worked out that way) and our son was due 8/12/06. Too bad he didn't show up for another 8 days!  |

ours was December 17, 2005. I came home from work and he put the ring on a pillow attached to a teddy bear and had my dd bring it in to me and tell me to marry him.

Ours is October 28th 2003, 1am. We had just gotten back from a friends house socializing. I took a shower and was very tired. I got out, put on my PJs and all of the sudden he took out the ring and got on one knee. I started to cry. He asked if I would marry him... I kept crying and then he asked if that was a yes. I nodded and he put the ring on my finger. I couldn't have looked worse! PJs, wet hair, no make up! UGH! But it was cute. I wouldn't change any of that memory for the world! The rest is history.

August 1997 thats it, it was a saturday night. But I could not tell you which night.
We do nothing for it. Never even thought about it before.

I couldn't tell you, honestly.
We were in the mall one day and went into the jewelry store and picked out rings for each other...that was it. No "formal" proposal. I guess we just both knew that is what we wanted.
I won’t tell you how long we had been dating…cause you probably won’t believe me.
