Default Where Can I Buy A Wii!?!?!?!

Christmas is getting close and Santa is supposed to be bringing us a Wii. BUT I can't find any stores that have them in stock. I have looked at all the online stores and they're all out of stock. I don't know what to do.

I checked ebay, but they're all going for well over $350+!

Help!

I heard that the stores (Wal-Mart, Target, etc) were supposed to have stock for Christmas, but apparently that's not the case in your area. Over here (NW suburbs of Minneapolis), they are at Wal-Mart and Game Stop for $249.99. Do you have friends/relatives that can check stores in their area??

We love our Wii, so I know you won't be disappointed, but I can't imagine having to pay $350 for one

Good Luck!!

Kim

The Wal-Mart here usually has about 5 every couple of weeks. On Black Friday they had over 25 sitting around for about 2 days!... Have you checked on-line at gamestop.com ? We ended up getting ours this summer at software ect. in the store, but you can check on-line for them too. I'm not much help.. Sorry! Good Luck!!

I bought mine last year at Walmart in Shawano....BUT, and here's the big BUT....
They advertised that they would have Wii's for sale Sunday morning, and Sunday morning means they start selling them at 12:01am.
So, I waited in line from 10:00 pm Saturday night to get ours. They only had about 15 of them, and there were way more than 15 people in line that night.
Of course my DH thought I was nuts for going as far as waiting in line, but I'm glad I did it!

Best Buy will be getting one more shipment in before x-mas, but I don't know when it will be ((I work there))or how many there will be. If it is in Sunday's ad, then get there early Sunday morning, because they go super quick! Good luck, I hope you find one!

I just wanted to add that I don't recommend getting a Wii off of E-bay unless it offers a warrenty. We got our Wii at Software Ect., brand new & never opened, we got home and it was broke, a manufacturer flaw. To send it into Nentendo to get fixed would have taken a good 8 weeks to get it back, we could take it back to the store and exchange it and only had to wait 3 weeks.

Good luck locating one!

It is much easier this year, than last year in finding them. DS#2 went on the hunt and was able to successfully purchase one. He stood in line 3 very, very cold days for the chance to buy one.

Let us know if you locate one.

Any luck with finding a Wii yet?

I found mine tonight...get this...at a pawn shop, for only $220!!!

Of course I had to make a mad dash there before they closed, but so worth it.

So...try pawn shops. People get loans on their stuff, and then lose it because of non payment. Around the holidays, people pawn their stuff like crazy.

Good luck!!!!!

I also want to add a few helpful hints in finding one at a pawn shop, since they do get grabbed up quickly, mine was only on the shlef for 4 hours!

1. Call them every morning and ask if they have one in yet.

2. Or, just simply ask them if they have one in the back that an owner is about to lose the loan on if he doesn't pay up. Some clerks will be kind enough to let you know the exact day they plan on sending it to their inventory.

I did the first option, because they weren't kind enough to keep me informed on the second... Something about fairness, *grumble grumble*

Hope you find one! I can't wait to play mine!
