I'm the assistant General Manager at Ruby Tuesday. I've been there for 7 years and took 3 mo off after having Grace. I work 45-50 hrs a week, and I clean the windows there every week which takes about an additional hr. AND I teach an alcohol training seminar that Utah requires servers to have to be able to server liquor. That's a 3 hr class that I teach 2x a month. So usually 50ish hrs a week total in working. I work nights mostly (4pm - around midnight or 12:30 am). I'm home with Grace during the day and DH is home with her at night, and we have a daycare for the times when our hours overlap. I also am starting to sew baby slings and want to sell them in our local farmers market. My goal is to be debt free and a SAHM within the next 5 years. We'll see I guess...

I'm a WAHM. I work as a freelance writer from my home and I love the flexibility. When I worked outside the home, I had a very rigid work schedule and it was incredibly difficult when my daughter was born. Being a WAHM has worked wonderfully for me, especially as my kids have gotten older and their activity level has increased.

I work at a bank. Been here for 9 years. Was not an option to stay home with my baby. I would have loved to but just not an option.
She's in a home day care. There's only 3 kids in total and her sitter won't take on more. she also won't take on 2 the same age. So I really lucked out. She's a friends mom and my daughter loves her.
Luckily my work is flexible. i drop Ashley off at day care at 6:30am and in work by 7:15. I pick her up by 4pm and get to enjoy a full evening with my Angel.
Honestly, as much as I would love to be home with her every day, I'm not sure I really could do it! I commend those who stay home with their child and I commend the day cares too!

I work full time as an accountant at a local credit union. I got this position through an internal posting, I've been at the credit union for 5 years now. I went back to work after 6 weeks of maternity leave. My mom watches Jocelyn for 3 days and my sister watches her for 2. I'm very thankful that I don't have to leave her with daycare and it makes it easier for me to leave her every morning (not that it is easy by any stretch of the imagination), knowing she'll be cared for by people I love and trust.

I work for a New York City Marketing firm. We do campaigns for serveral large companies. We even release funny, cool videos for consumer awareness.

A good example would be this, Strong As Steel a piece we did that is a tongue in cheek guide to working out at home with exercise equipment lol.

It's a pretty flexible job and they understand I have a lot of responsibilities with 3 kids so they are pretty flexible. Also I can work from home a lot of times when the kids are sick and whatnot.

I`m a professional commercial, lingerie and glamour model and work all over the UK. Lennon comes on shoots with me but occasionally he has stayed with my Mum and his cousins for the day

I am working towards becoming a teacher and am thinking of starting a tutoring business. Too many children fall through the cracks and students that can only read at a first grade level is going into fourth grade. It doesn't make sense, students need to get the help to succeed. Education in our country is really sad, it needs to be revamped for sure.

Yeah it's a shame that sometimes those things happen. It's great we have people trying to make a difference to those who do fall through the cracks.
