ok.... what's going on? did we loose our moderator? I've noticed the list is shorter and less complete lately and this week no list at all..... I'm in withdrawl. I have really become dependent on these posts. am I missing something?

Not missing much this week! A lot of spend $25 get $5 with no real coupon matches that make a difference.....

But the monthly deal on colgate is pretty sweet!

there was a list but apparently its been deleted because i was looking for it too. People come to seek the deals here but very few people help find and post them.

Its a shame. People must be going over to other forums. I have always enjoyed it here and found much useful info. Not much posting going on here lately.

Just to point out, here at Families.com, the moderator is not in charge of the list. The moderator is in charge of moderating.

We have always relied on the members to contribute ads, and we've always appreciated whatever help they could provide.

As far as losing moderators though, I used to be a CVS mod, but I resigned in order to spend more time with my family. Anybody is WELCOME to apply to be a mod though.

It's always more helpful to step up and volunteer your assistance than just to point out what's lacking.

thanks for setting me straight on how things work here... I was under the impression that the moderator was posting the week's deals and then others were posting additional deals they found (like if trial sizes work, etc.) I should have been paying closer attention. I will gladly post deals I find from now on so that I can contribute. I am still very "behind the power curve" compared to most of you on finding deals. (only been at it for a year now). If I wanted to post deals and match coupons early like we've been seeing, how would I do that? My flyer comes out on Sundays but we've been seeing posts here 2 weeks early sometimes. (how did that happen?)

I'd love to post the deals also, but alas, both of my stores claim they don't get the ads in the store until the day they come out. I even went once early Sunday morning (to do the Post deal, didn't want to miss out) and they weren't even out yet. The gal told me the delivery of them comes in at 10 am on Sunday!
It does seem to a lot slower around here lately, but maybe part of that is people going back to school and all.

Just to proove I don't want to "mooch" off of other's posts, here's what I did : (made 14.30 in profit for purchasing 2 zantacs, 5 tubes of
toothpaste and 5 sticks of deodorant)
bought 2 zantac 150 Cool 8 counts for 5.49 each and used 2 printable coupons for a dollar off of each at http://bricks.coupons.com/Bstart.asp?tqnm=tihhfdu3772653&bt=wi&o=8452&c=PF&p =tan03RFv&xpsp=xpsp2 and got 10.98 back in CVS bucks (2 dollar profit)
bought 2 colgate total advanced clean 4.2 oz for 2.99 and used the .75 off CVS coupon that printed out with receipts 2 weeks ago and used also the $1 off coupon from the paper (last sunday's) and a printable $1 off coupon from http://www.colgate.com/app/Colgate/U...ction=OralCare and got 5.98 bck in CVS bucks (2.75 profit)
bought 3 colgate max fresh 4 oz for 2.99 each and use the two printable max fresh coupons for $1 off each at http://www.colgate.com/app/Colgate/U...ction=OralCare and another of the $1 off coupons from last sunday's paper and got back 11.96 in CVS bucks (3 dollar profit)
bought 5 adidas deodorants for 2.69 each and used 5 of the $1 off each coupons from last sunday's paper and got $15 back in CVS bucks (6.55 profit)-there is a coupon for up to $3 off of each which would give you a bigger profit in the August issue of "All You" on page 48 if you happen to have it)

I think she had a valid question/comment. Only offering "assistance" in answering her question rather than pointing out what her post was "lacking" would have been more helpful.
Moderators are members too. And just to point out to you the board describes moderators as a bit more than basic moderating.
