Default Whinge Whinge WHINGE

I have a 7 month old Son called Lucas, and all he does is whinge!
He hasn't got any teeth yet, but the Health Visitor says that it probably wont be long. She said he is advanced for his age, as he can sit, roll, pull himself up and use the pincer grasp.
But he just constantly whinges, he will walk around in his walker whinging, or play with his toys whinging. He used to be a happy boy.
When I smile at him, he smiles back, then starts moaning at me again.
URGH!
anyone else have this prob?

i have a 6 and half month old and she is much the same... i guess we are just going to have to wait until the teeth come through... use teething rings, cold damp cloth, gel and panadol/tylenol in the mean time

OH yeah, I am right there with you... it can be almost maddening at times. Sometimes I'd almost rather my son cry, because 9/10 times a little rocking and a few kisses can cure that... but for the last month or so it's just been just rhythmic day and night long whining... I'm sure it's teething. I try to put myself in his "shoes" and then I just feel horrible for him, how annoying and bothersome it must be to have teeth come in. The cool ring teethers seem to work wonders, but it's only a temporary fix until the ring cools off... I'd recommend getting several and always have one available in the fridge. Cold wash cloths work, too!
