First of all, one thing you may want to consider is getting some extra help! Babies can be very overwhelming, especially if they are not sleeping contentedly all the time!

Newborns can nurse as often as every 45minutes--it is normal to be very, very exhausted!
Fenugreek worked very well for me (with the twins) but also some things that work are simply being close to baby--try wearing him in a sling or even sleeping with him near by (like in a co-sleeper or something). But the best way to increase supply is by stimulation--nurse, nurse, nurse, and then nurse some more. Ironic that the answer to most nursing problems is to keep nursing!
I highly recommend that you get in touch with La Leche League or a lactation consultant certified by IBCLC, if it continues to be problematic
