Default Who's Carving Pumpkins?

It's a tradition to carve pumpkins for
Halloween
and
Trick or Treating.

Have you started yours?

Or do you wait until just before Oct 31st?

Heather shares a fun stencil idea in this pumpkin blog:

Hmm, I'm not sure what we will do. It gets really messy

By the way, did you know that pumpkins can ruin your home? Click here. (Made you look)

I have been carving pumpkins on FB which is a really fun application!! We will likely carve some...maybe 2 pumpkins...sometimes we each do one...Nothing overly creative...Your typical jack-o-lantern most years...I usually try to make a tooth in the bottom of the mouth and 9x outta 10 end up cutting it off!! Maybe will attempt something different this year...we'll see.. But we gotta carve 'em if we want all those yummy pumpkin seeds!! It is almost worth the goopy, slimey mess for those delicicous seeds..not the same buying them in the bag already nicely done for you!!!

We usually wait until about the 26/27 to carve the pumkins. Then, hopefully, we can throw it away right after. Last year Kelsie really wasn't fully aware of what was going on, but she did make me wait until the pumpkin rotted to throw it away.

We do but we have to wait till Halloween day. Otherwise with as much humidity as we have (80%-90%) we would have moldy pumpkin goo before halloween.
We have a great time. My DH is into Jeeps so we usually have one Jeep themed. And then I usually do the traditional happy smiling face.
Fun times!
