Default Do you check your kids candy?

Just wondering if I'm the only one out there who checks my kids Halloween candy before they eat it.

Sad that we have to do that.

Always, to only candy they can eat right away is from our house, or Grandparents house. even then they are in to much of a hurry to eat anything then, so they dont get much till tomorrow after school. When all the crappy candy will be thrown away

My kids only treat or trick the neighbours we know. So although I nose at what they get I don't check it as such. But Halloween in England isn't as big as it is in the states. Trick or treating has only really kicked off in the last 5 years.

It is best to check your children 's candy. You don't know if they don't exxagerate with candy. It is normal that they eat some more candy during this period but there are also some alternatives and pumpkin is a good alternative.

I always check and I never let them have homemade treats from strangers.
