Default Why do I have to go so early?

I got a call from the hospital today, confirming my scheduled c-section and all that good stuff. My c-section is scheduled for 7:30am on March 17th, and I have to go on the 10th to pre-register and get all this blood work done. They told me I have to be there by 5:30am!! The girl that I spoke with was rather short with me, so I didn't get to ask why I had to be there so early... I live a half hour from the hospital, so it's not going to be fun getting up at 4:30am! Sleeping will be hard enough that night, hahaha! Anyone know why I have to be there so early?

I don't know why so early. But you are going to have a St. Patrick's day baby!! How cute. And how exciting that it is so close!!

I had to do the same thing in Sept when I had Brennan. I live 45 minutes away from my hospital so it was not fun leaving at 4:30 in the morning! They just prep you, do stats, monitor the baby, etc.. Believe me it goes fast. Good luck and how exciting a St. Patty's baby!

I had to go in that earlier too with #2 and #3. It does go fast though, before you know it they're prepping you in the OR.

Thanks everyone... I don't know, I've been having some false alarms lately, maybe this baby will make her own grand entrance! She seems like she wants out!
