Woah!
I had no idea the Mormon men were so, um, racy. Well apparently the Men on a Mission are! Do you think this is an okay way to raise money for their cause? Or is it going to far? I am not a Mormon (may convert for one of these cuties hehe ) but this seems a little much for what I thought was a fairly conservative religion. What do you think?

Interesting!
There is a YouTube on this particular calendar.
I'm surprised that it is allowed, being that most Mormons are conservative.

Ok well apparently there's a trend...
Oh my...the last thing I need is a calendar in my room that makes me think bad thoughts about priests. That's like a 12 page ticket to hell. Bad Jean.

Yikes! That's a little much for me... I'm lutheran and we are pretty laid back but I don't know about letting my hubby do that or our missionaries.
Houston firefighters make one of these every year and they get racier and racier each year. It's one of those you wanna look but then it's awkward!
Wow!

I am LDS and I think it is discusting. Honestly, I don't even believe these guys are real missionaries for the LDS church. I think they are taking the "goody-goody" image and turning it into a "sexy" thing (kind of like the kinky grown up outfits that look like school girl outfits). If they do happen to be real LDS missionaries, I guarantee they won't be much longer. They have an image to uphold and that is not it.

There are disclaimers on the mission calendar that it is not affilitated with the mormon church. Most of these are very clear about the intent and the charity - and it is likely easier to to this as a charitable thing than a calendar with women. The corelation of the imagery in the video however, is inescapable - white shirts and ties which clearly look like a mormon missionary to no shirts.
I personally do not like calendars like this because when I see men posing in this way, it trips my gaydar. (so do most of the Levis ads.) I would rather feast my eyes on good looking men DOING something, like saving the world or taking down the terrorists or the bad guys - which is why I like action movies that feature Bruce Willis, Matt Damon, Jackie Chan, etc. I don't think I'd buy a male model calendar, even if it featured them!

Wow!
Houston firefighters have a calendar too? They are such honorable heros too.
