Daycare is very expensive. Leaving the house to work can cost more than you make. I decided to work at home. I found a position that appears to be relatively easy that I can do from home. Today was my first day. I had to make a few phone calls. I was on the phone with someone and Meg decided to run up and scream into the phone "I don't have any underwear". Lovely, the guy understood and actually laughed. I was mortified though. I was so professional up until that point.
How do you keep your children occupied while you work from home? I think tomorrow I'm going to make all my calls in the morning when they are sluggish and not as loud. Then I'm going to tell them to play in the bedroom until mommy comes and gets them. Meg is the worst. She won't be quiet for anything. I was hoping that she would play quietly but she won't. As soon as Sebastian walked through the door he got Colby going, then turned around and acted like he didn't do anything wrong.
If anyone has any ideas let me know. This is definitely going to be a learning experience. I'm not giving an opportunity to work at home up so they are going to have to adjust!
