Default Wwyd?

I went to GE today and I messed up and the cashier messed up. I thought something was wrong but didn't realize until after I left. I picked up 2 bags of the birds eye veggies that were not on sale-I don't know why the 12 oz broccoli is on sale but 12 oz cauliflower and broccoli is not. I just grabbed 4 bags that were all together I didn't really look if some were on sale or not. There were sale signs but my sister says that happened to her before all but 2 were on sale. Then the cashier missed one of my 20 Lipton tea coupons she had to key in herself. So I feel bad being picky about it but were talking about almost $3 all together. Should I just let it go or should I call and ask for a refund?

Well, the veggies weren't on sale, so you'd have to return them and rebuy ones that are. And regarding the coupons, it's your word against theirs. If they have any common sense at all, they'd side with you. If it were me, I'd forget about it.

That happened to me the last time these bags of veggies were on sale. I caught it before I left the store. So now you are only talking about the one coupon for the ice tea. So don't sweat it or as they say Forgit bout it.

You can always take your receipt and the coupon in the next time you go and they will refund the money for you. I've had to do this multiple times because I always forget one.

I wouldn't buy half the stuff without the coupons so there's no way I want to pay full price for it.

Oh and they're registers seem to be programmed where they can tell if you've already used a coupon on something so it wouldn't allow two for the same item. That's why it's never a problem to take the receipt and coupon back in if one was missed.

I guess I read the OP as handing over 20 coupons and the cashier manually entering only 19 and putting all 20 into the drawer, thus the OP doesn't have a coupon to take in.

Oh you're probably right, I just didn't understand what she was saying at first, but now it makes sense.
