Default Ya Gotta Love 'em!

Are you in this same situation?

As you can tell......I will admit that I'm in my 40's.
Have 1 teenaged boy, a college boy,
and
my elderly parents.

Tonight, in preparation for Mom's Weekend at my DS#1's college
and to look my beautiful best........

I applied color.

You know what this means.

I know what this means.

I come out of the bathroom just beeeeeeea-utiful!

With my hair finished & colored, I waltz into see
that DH is sitting at the diningroom table playing on his laptop,
I just had to ask him the $10 question that
every woman asks her husband.....

"Do you notice anything different?"

DH just blinks at me. The universal DH sign for, 'I don't really have a clue here.'

I turn on the big lights, so he can really see the beeeeeeeea-utiful me.

"Do you notice anything different?"

DH adjusts his bifocals and says, "Are you going back to brown?"

DH knows this is not the correct answer and tries again, "Are you blond again?"

DH tries again, "Oh, you are a red head now?"

DH finally gives up, "Well, I don't know what color It Is.....but the gray is all gone!"

Bingo!

It's the same blondish-color as always....at least the past 20 or so years....sans the gray.

DH admits, "It's a lovely color!"

What we ladies do to look beeeeeeeeea-utiful!

LMAO! Are all dh's cut from the same cloth? I doubt mine would notice if I went from medium blond back to my normal dark brown!

LMAO!!! Thank you for that laugh- I needed it! Yes I do think it is in men's nature to be less observant of this sort of thing! Isn't it amazing how a new hair color can make you feel?! I'm glad you are feeling beeeeautiful girl!
