You know CVS has driven you to insanity when...
you spend 2 days trying to figure out how to get diapers as cheap as possible. I needed to buy some Pull-Ups for days. I actually toiled over different ways of getting them at CVS, until we were down to 2 Pull-Ups left in the package. I finally worked out a deal where I would combine this week and next week's sales and buy more stuff than planned to get more off the diapers. I was first working on doing the $5 P&G ecb deal from this week with Pampers. Then that deal with the Huggies deal for next week. I finally decided to just get the Huggies. I even drove to a store 20 minutes away to get this and next week's sales together, eventhough there's a location less than 5 minutes away.
Transaction 1:
2 Alaverts
4 Gold Emblem Nuts
- $4/$20 coupon
- (2) $6 Alavert printables
Paid: $9.50 OOP / Got $11.00 in extra bucks
Transaction 2:
2 Pull-Ups
1 Kellogg's Red Berries Special K
3 Mike and Ikes candies
1 Twizzler
- $4 off $20 coupon
- (2) $2.00 off Huggies Pull-Ups coupons
- $11.00 ecbs from first transaction
Paid: $0.17 after going negative and adding more candy
Okay, I could have gotten the diapers for about $10.50, without all the bother. But, I took it as a challenge to work out a good deal. I even had (3) $4/$20 and a $4/$20 baby care to print out on my receipts, which makes it even better.
