Default Your Dream Home Plans

It is amazing how many great websites there are with thousands of floor plans for homes available for free to view on the web.

Look at:
ePlans.com
HousePlans.com
HomePlans.com
CoolHousePlans.com

If money were no object, what would be the floor plan of your dream home?

Our dream home is at Coolhouseplans.com (http://www.coolhouseplans.com/details.html?pid=19860)

My husband and I picked out the plan years ago and have kept copies of it with us ever since. I'm a big believer in visualizing what I want to make manifest, so my husband has been humoring me. Every day, we imagine some new scene in that house that includes us and our son.

We may never have that house, but then again, we just might.
Regardless, a happy daydream once a day about one's dream house can't harm anyone

Default Dream house - could get real in 3 years for me

You think big!
This is mine http://www.coolhouseplans.com/detail...dID=6&sid=chp1
Somewhere brand new in a warm place. Just me and occasional visitors.
No more of this boxy cape 1940s junk that I have to settle for now.
This could get real for me in a few years, if I play my financial cards right when I leave Jersey.

Your house is VERY nice. I see there are even rooms for your boys.
I'm into big, open spaces (duh, Montana), so if that were my house, I'd pull out the wall in the family room and make it one big Family/Dining/Living room area.

I'm a huge believer in manifesting. Don't say never! And remember to always say that it "is your house."

I'm sorry. I've really been reading up on creative visualization and manifesting lately and I'm exuding it lately.

I actually started visualizing my house last night, oddly enough. To find this thread feels amazing odd right now. I think I might go look for my floor plan now.

ETA: I just looked at your plan. You have excellent taste. I really can see you in this house. I believe you're on your way to living there!

I've been in a few of my 6000 ft dream homes (sunday open houses). I didn't find they were too big to clean either--lol. We could just shut doors of rooms we don't want to dirty up.

I stay pretty content with each home I've owned (mortgaged). I'm completely satisfied now with 4 bedrooms plus a bonus, 2 living rooms, 2.5 bathrooms minimum, light and bright, dark wood in kitchen, high ceilings and the MUST have is a bedroom with vaulted ceiling, fireplace, a BIG tub in addition to shower. I have all these with my house now, but what I don't have that I want is a YARD! We have an itty-bitty triangular yard. We got the runt lot. I also would love to have either one level or a home that you don't have to enter below the house to get up to the main floor. Good excersize though and that's what we get for a view (of really other roof tops that get the better view--lol).

Here is a plan that isn't really any different from our size home now but I loved the layout. Seemed resort-like. http://www.eplans.com/house-plans.hwx/Q/Plan.HWEPL00892.
